Divine Love Meditation FREE

I just added a new audio meditation that you can access   HERE.   Please listen for 21 minutes to experience a very powerful healing on forgiveness.  My clients are listening and telling me that it’s really working to free them from the past and to allow painful moments to be released.  I hope it will help us all release our past and move into the present moment with compassion and love for ourselves and everyone.

During this chaotic time on the Earth, there is a great need for healing, for forgiveness, and the release of judgment.

I hope you find within you the compassion for yourself and others as we go through these deep changes in our consciousness.

Remember, there is nothing outside of you.  Your mind encompasses all that you see, feel, hear, touch and think of.  It is very important that we free our minds of fear so that we may evolve and shift out of the 3rd dimension.  The ascension or illumination of our minds is at hand.

ASCENSION SYMPTOMS

Headaches, stomachaches, feelings of disorientation are normal during these times of upheaval.  Physical changes to your body may also be happening.  Do not be worried about these symptoms, it means you are shedding the density of your old thought system.  Your vibration is being increased with every release of fear, guilt, judgment, blame or depression.

The systems that do not work such as those based in greed, selfishness, hate, corruption and fear are breaking down.  IT IS WONDERFUL that they do so.

Please do not fall into the trap of reacting to this with fear yourself.  Stay in love and LOVE YOURSELF more.  Ask yourself what you want to do, listen and do that.

I find that I spend a lot of time alone and I used to feel lonely.  But now, I truly enjoy myself, because I can honor what I truly want and how I truly want to spend the time, with no distractions.

HONOR YOURSELF during these times. And get lots of rest, drink plenty of water and eat good, healthy food.

Release addictions to the best of your ability.  My coffee addiction disappeared when I prayed about it during my class on Monday night.

A Course of Love – A Surprise

“The world as a state of being, as a whole, has entered a time, brought on largely by A Course in Miracles, in which readiness for miracle-mindedness is upon it. A Course in Miracles opened a door by threatening the ego.  All those who, with egos weakened, walked this world with the hope of leaving ego behind, with miracle-minded intent, have awakened human beings to a new identity.  They have ushered in a time of ending our identity crisis. Not since Jesus walked the earth has such a time been upon humankind.”  –A Course of Love.

I was given this new volume called “A Course of Love” just the other day.  Apparently, it’s a sequel to A Course in Miracles.  I am very happy to have opened it up and allowed its words to comfort me in the knowledge that there is truly only the experience of love.  All learning ceases when revelation has come to take its place.  I am finding myself lifted out of conflict and any striving for a future state.  It has simply stopped.

The goal of A Course in Miracles is peace. It is perhaps time to accept that peace is your natural state and when you have gotten to the end of learning where it is not found, then, well…there it is.

The last obstacle to peace has gone, it was the fear of the love of God, which is quite insane.  Words mean little now, because knowledge has come to take their place.  Knowledge of what?  Of who you are.  The only problem you ever had has been solved. It’s not a dramatic climax, it’s a simple melting into the truth of who you are.  It didn’t take time, it took willingness to look for it even in the midst of conflict and pain.

Do you ever wonder what all the striving is for?  Do you ever wonder if your life ultimately leads to a moment of total freedom from fear, and if you accept that time is not passing, then, you could be totally free right now…this moment?

Love never dies, it is the one eternal state that is unchanged by time…unchanged by the mind of man, unchanged by belief systems, religions, and warfare.

This is a game changer, when you cease to allow a conflict thought to have any effect on you.  You stop listening to it.  You have surrendered to love and refused to hear another voice. Love is quietly present, love is everything you are and there was never a chance of ever losing it. That was impossible.

In spite of all the seeming losses, the failures, the successes, the trials, the pitfalls, the dreams of war, dreams of death and of meaninglessness, of hopelessness, of doubt, you could not change what is unchangeable.

You are still you.

All learning comes to this end…you are what love is and always have been.Listen with your heart. You give meaning to everything you see.  Stop a moment, get quiet and listen.  Perhaps there is another way to be, to simply be with all that is.

Get Rid of Fear Once and for All…

The secret to living without fear lies in one thing only:  your desire to get rid of it. All creative and healing endeavors require you to move through fear.  All desires of the heart to grow, to give and to love in all conditions require courage and faith. Remember, love and fear cannot coexist, as Jesus states this very early on in the Urtext in the section called Fear as Lack of Love:

Fear cannot be Christ-controlled, but it CAN be self-controlled. Fear is always associated with what does not matter. It prevents Me from controlling it. The correction is therefore a matter of YOUR will, because its presence shows that you have raised the UNIMPORTANT to a higher level than it warrants. You have thus brought it under your will, where it DOES NOT belong. This means YOU feel responsible for it. Here’s a proven way to free yourself from fear within a few minutes when it arises:

  1. First of all, know you made it up.  Its unimportant, but you think its real, and you will have fear because you forgot you are a mind, not a body.  It is up to you to release it. Resistance is fear, but Jesus states in the New Testament, resist not evil.  It’s unimportant.   Don’t resist what is silly. Yes, you do experience fear and it will arise when you feel the threat to your survival…yet if you want total freedom and happiness, just recognize it and see it as growth toward freedom. When you accept that it is fear that causes you to grow, you will not listen to it.
  2. Deep breathe for 10 minutes. Fear has no real source because all fear is based upon a lie.  There is nothing to fear.  You have made a state of separation, you think its true, but, you are not the thing that fears, you are the spirit beyond all the emotions. You can breathe deeply for 10 minutes deep into your belly.  Alllow it to release and if your mind wanders, just breathe.  If thoughts appear, just say “oh well” and breathe some more. Try it.
  3. See yourself moving through the veil of fear, or lifting it off you.  Can you imagine what it would be like to easily remove this fear from your mind?  It is work to free yourself from fear, but its better than listening to fearful thoughts. They only make you crazy.
  4. Listen to your heart, not your head.  Get quiet and go within for a moment.  Really let go and ask for help to see the situation differently.  God wills you perfect happiness, this means you can trust Him.  Listen to His voice within you. Ask and listen, and you will receive the answer from deep within you. It takes a little willingness and great persistence to set yourself free.
  5. Have courage to face your fear and go within.  Listening to God’s guidance or the small voice inside, the one that speaks to you softly, encouraging you. Listening to this voice is the only way out of fear forever.  As you get comfortable with the practice, when fear arises, you will know what to do.  Growth is accomplished by releasing fear and learning to trust.
  6. The 25 minute healing meditation  here can facilitate a shift away from fear, disease, unforgiveness and clears the chakras to allow more love and light into your awareness.  Take just 25 minutes to free your mind from fear.  Do it now. The world needs you to be fearless.

10 Myths About A Course in Miracles

Do you want to know more about A Course in Miracles, but are afraid to ask?  Don’t know where to begin? Find it daunting?  Think its too New Age?  Read on.  I dispel some common misconceptions about it and provide a bit of a primer for beginning to do the lessons:

  1. You have to read that whole big book in order to understand what it’s all aboutThis is false and you will be delighted to find out that to actually do the Course, you only have to read and practice one lesson per day.  This takes about 10 minutes.  Remember, your understanding is not necessary.  Your willingness is. You need a miracle when you are unhappy.
  2. You have to be quiet and not react to everyone around you.  Well, are you always going to be non-judgmental?  It is almost impossible, so don’t try to purify your thoughts, that’s the job of the Holy Spirit.  The Course is on the level of the mind.  You are responsible for your thoughts and this is what it means when it states that the entire world is going on in your own mind, because you have projected it from an idea of you being separate.  In an objective world, where separateness rules, there can be no peace.
  3. How can I not react in this crazy world? You will not be able to.  You don’t have to not react, but if you practice the lessons, you begin to realize that judgment is a toy, and you are playing a game with yourself.  You can just as easily decide to see you have a choice to either stay in reaction or use the lessons to help you stop, ask for help and allow a miracle to occur.
  4. Becoming enlightened is boring because you would be in la-la land unaffected by anything.  It is far from boring to be in a state of ecstatic love all the time, and laughing at all the craziness, knowing full well that you are dreaming.  You will love everyone a lot more knowing you don’t have to be offended by them.  If you are offended, you might want to laugh at yourself a lot more.
  5. The Course says that you just have to forgive all the time, and not care if people are attacking or not respectful of you. Not true, if you knew you were not separate from anyone or anything, you would do everything in your power to love and extend that love from within you.  Love doesn’t get offended, but if you are offended, you have the choice to change your thought about it.  A major idea of the Course is that God wills for you perfect happiness.  Can you be happy if you are being mistreated?  No, a healthy boundary is what love is.
  6. The Course is new age thinking.  Actually the Course is harder than most teachings, because it is about taking full responsibility for your thoughts, releasing resentment and forgiving.  Just like the core teachings Jesus taught in the New Testament, his Course is about learning to love God with all your heart, mind and soul and your neighbor as yourself. It is not easy.
  7. Reading the Course will help me have a more successful life.  This is true only if you define success as being in a state of happiness and freedom.  Because you learn to forgive, it will enhance your ability to love more and become as a little child and pray without ceasing. You will become happy when you realize happiness is your natural state no matter who you are with, what you are doing and how much worldly success you have.
  8. I have give up the world if I do the Course.  What is the world? The world is your projection and if you do surrender your thoughts about it, you will experience more and more peace. The goal is peace.  You can become happy even if you only spend 10 minutes a day reading it.  Most people feel it brings them peace, without realizing how that happens and are grateful for the miraculous healing the Course brings about in them.
  9. A miracle is a physical healing. Not always, it can be a shift in your consciousness that causes you to become happier and less resentful and fearful.  This is a miracle of the mind and this shift is a correction of the fear that may result in a physical healing.  Everything starts in the mind.  The thought of illness comes before the illness.  The idea of healing comes before the healing occurs.   This is because cause and effect are not apart.
  10. If I wake up and become enlightened, I won’t be in a body anymore.  Not true, you would just be aware that it’s a dream and you are awake within this dream.  You will usually feel the need to help others awaken and your life becomes one of service to help humanity in whatever capacity will bring you the most joy.

The Zen of Yogi Berra

“If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll end up somewhere else.”  Yogi Berra

How true this statement is.  It seems obvious, but how many people just go through each day without an idea of where they are heading and end up somewhere “else”. And the somewhere else, is where you end up if you don’t have an idea of what you want.  You might be floundering, with thoughts of doubt, fear and uncertainty pervading your mind.

The Course in Miracle Lesson “The Power of Decision is My Own” comes to mind. I have to decide, to choose to be happy in order to put and end to the thoughts of disempowerment. The fear, guilt and incessant questioning everything is my own attack upon myself.  It doesn’t make me happy.

Today while driving I heard a voice say, “just see yourself where you truly want to be. And then collapse all the time between now and having it come true”.

Immediately I felt uncertain because I didn’t really know what I wanted in that moment, or I didn’t think I did.  Here are three steps I use to get clear and focused on where I am heading.

  1. What do I really want?  I have to go into my heart to find out.  I have to explore my deepest desire right now.  I only know I want to be truly happy.  And if I am not focused on that idea, I am at the whim of circumstance, right? Because every moment I am getting the result of my thoughts.
  2. I know I want happiness, so I just ask:  what do I need to do to be really happy today?  See what comes.  If you feel resistance, just allow that too. Happiness is not a future state…it only can be experienced right now.
  3. Now I ask for a real vision of being totally happy, and begin to see it in my mind’s eye:   I am walking on the beach, or sitting in a cafe, teaching a group, giving a treatment, or healing someone, or just being alone.  It could be absolutely anything and for you it is personal.  I know I am happiest when I extend and help free someone to be more joyful, empowered and peaceful.
  4. OK, now just let go of “how” it will happen, because that’s not your job.  Your job is to ask to be happy and to release the need to work it out.  Most days are just wonderful when you get out of the way and allow God to show up in ways you had nothing to say about.

Here’s whats been happening since I started doing this:

I am now living in Maine and staying a while on the beach with my brother and attending great yoga classes at this new center in Portland where I am opening a healing practice. I am really enjoying how everything is opening up and falling into place.  I ran into a dear friend from Wisconsin at a cafe in Southern Maine the other day, and she invited me to a church service where I met lots of people like me… it just keeps getting better and better.

20 Ways to Get Through a Breakup

In the midst of a breakup, you can get very confused, or you can use this list of ways to get through it.  This is a way to speed up your awakening and healing from relationships.  Forgiveness is key now but it might feel impossible to you.  That is totally understandable.

My husband announced two weeks ago that he didn’t want to live with me any more.  I have found myself in shock, anger, guilt, rage, fear, frustration and dismay.  Here is how I am getting through it.  It is working for me and helping me to move quickly into joy even in the midst of this painful situation.

  1. Stay focused on you.  Don’t focus on the partner and what he or she did to you. Let them be.  You have no control over them, but you do have control over your mind and how you handle this situation.
  2. Make a list of things you have to take care of now.  It could be to find a place to live, to work (if you work at home), organize a move, decide what possessions you want to keep.  Don’t worry about this too much, you can always replace stuff.
  3. Be very focused on your mental state.  Do the lessons of the Course, read Chapter 17 The Holy Relationship.  We use our relationships to heal and to awaken from the dream of separation.  Use this as an opportunity to get serious and be persistent on your path.
  4. Read one lesson per day, or read the first 50 lessons from A Course in Miracles in short form (reviews) every day. I like the reviews because it can be done in 20 minutes.
  5. Allow the emotions to surface, but don’t wallow in them.  You can read and repeat the key lessons like “There is nothing my holiness cannot do.  I am as God created me.  There is nothing to fear. “
  6. Breathe deeply and use this meditation to release emotions and the tendency to blame.  Panic will not help right now, when it comes up, do this quick 25 minute healing to release the emotional states.  Resentment is not going to help you right now, but it will come up and this will help to let it go quickly.
  7. Ask for help.  Many supportive friends and family will come to your aid, people you never thought would be so caring.  Allow them to help you right now because you need them and it alleviates the loneliness and fear. You are supported by God right now and your friends and family want to help you.
  8. Go within.  Write down all that you are feeling and focus on what you want now  .  Don’t listen to everyone and their opinions, this will just confuse you. Don’t let other people’s breakups or stories influence you.
  9. Write down the “old story”, this what you have been living regarding your self, partner, career, finances, and home.  Now burn it.  Now write down the “new story”, aim high and imagine what you want right now in all these aspects.  This will help to let go of the past and move on quickly and stay focused on YOU, and what you really want now.  Read it over and over every day.
  10. Pray each day for guidance and to be shown that you are loved and taken care of. The universe loves you and is giving you this opportunity to speed up your process of awakening.  Allow the guidance and the freedom from fear that it brings each moment.
  11. The blessing in this situation is:  There is always a blessing for you in a crisis…write it down.  This keeps you focused on what you are grateful for, allowing for more appreciation.   Read it over every morning.
  12. Focus on your abilities and strengths. This helps when the critical judging thoughts come in that eat away at your self-esteem.
  13. Don’t allow the judgments and self-criticism.  Write down all your wonderful qualities and things you have achieved in your life.
  14. Keep an open heart and mind.  When you close down and feel the pain, know that it is changing.  It is important to feel the emotions but know that you are not your emotions and feelings. You can stay open to receive more healing and more grace.
  15. Stay hydrated.  Don’t reach for alcohol or coffee right now…I know its tempting, but it brings your body into stress and your emotions will be harder to calm down.  Drink tons of water!
  16. Exercise.  This really keeps the stress out of your body.  Go for a run or walk every morning for at least 30 minutes. It helps to know you care about yourself right now.  Take care of the body and the mind.
  17. Take a break from your location.  Book a trip and give yourself time to slow down and go within.  I am going to a part of the country I love for 5 days and seeing my two grown boys. I can feel how much I need this right now.
  18. Try this worksheet from Byron Katie for self-examination. A simple four step process to let go of your painful thoughts.
  19. Don’t project all your thoughts onto your partner.  Let them go for now.  Be steady and look at your own mind.  Remember, self responsibility is key.
  20. Give yourself a break, its time to list all the things you love and and remember what brings you joy and do at least 3 of those things each day.

When life choices seem daunting in the midst of chaos, know that there are no mistakes.  You will make choices and then learn from them. Honor your progress and your path right now.  You want freedom and this is giving it to you in ways you cannot fathom right now.

Although the pain will surface, feel it and use it to free you today.  It is helping you to become more compassionate toward yourself and others. Stay humble. Focus on this moment right now.  Not next week, not next year.  RIGHT NOW…it is the only time there is and it is where your healing resides.
